The Gay Dad Project, (GDP) is a website community geared for conversation about families and what it feels like to have a parent come out. They aim to connect with other children and families who are going through – or have gone through – this experience.
Started by adult children of fathers who came out as gay after being married to women for many years, the community serves as a safe space for families to share personal stories and talk. It is a place for people and supporters of the LGBTQ community.

Through open and respectful dialogue they hope to give visibility to families and create a safe space for conversation. They will assist in locating appropriate resources as they can but please keep in mind that they are still locating and Anyone is welcome there – their site is as a place for people to come and learn from the stories we share here as well.
They are currently working on a documentary and a book. Lovebian Labs have partnered with GDP and are exclusively selling their I (heart) The Gay Dad Project t-shirts! All proceeds go right back to GDP to help fund their future as a 501 (c) 3 non profit!

While it's important to be yourself, sometimes we can't help wishing we were something else. And if you could be anything else, wouldn't you want to be a unicorn?
At Lovebian Designs, we celebrate individuality, no matter what you Lovebian. We encourage people to express their true nature with funny, nerdy, and sarcastic designs. We are a homegrown, grassroots company. We make our designs from start to finish. We take funny ideas and bring them to life. If it makes us laugh, we make it.
We are seeking funds to make a large-scale production of one of our fans' favorite designs: "Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn. Then always be a unicorn."
At this point our budget only allows us to print what we sell. Each order is handled individually, from picking up the shirt to making the screen, printing it, setting it, and shipping it. Our shirts are handmade by us in Lovebian Labs (a.k.a. Heather's kitchen), so each one is special, but it's not super efficient. Because we only have the budget to buy the garments as needed we do a ton of driving back and forth to the distributor and have to reclaim our screens and remake them more often then we would like. This is time consuming and expensive.
Lots of people have shown interest in the always be a unicorn design and it's one of our constant sellers so we'd like to make a big production run to not only save on costs and time but also spread more unicorn love to the world. This Kickstarter campaign will allow for a budget to produce 100 shirts and 250 stickers. But why stop there! The more money we raise for this awesome t-shirt run the more we will make!
